  Hi friends! Dana here today sharing an upcycled advent calendar. I saved the advent calendar packaging from last year and gave it a new life using products from the Fancy Pants Designs Fruitcake and Tinsel Collection and some of my favorite chipboard sets. I used the Christmas Countdown Title on the front of this calendar box, which I colored simply with a paint marker. While I was assembling the covers, I added red ribbon under the patterned paper so that I could tie the calendar closed. I had a lot of fun painting and embellishing this  Santa Head Shaker . I used paint markers to color the chipboard and then filled the colored segments with matching glitter or sequins. I added a sprig of holly from the  Poinsettia Set  and a blue pompom to Santa's hat.  There wouldn't be a Santa without Rudolph.     Hi friends! Dana here today sharing a layout highlighting a recent a cappella performance by my oldest child. They feel right at home singing on center stage, and I love to watch them perform. I used two music themed stencils with black dye ink to add the symbols across the center of the page: Music Bar Stencil and Music To My Ears Stencil . The Film Strip Picture Frame Set was a great way to highlight my photos. I used Mirrored Gold Acrylic Stars to cover up the other teens in the photo. Sorry, not sorry! This was easier than cropping people out and they add a great shine to the page. I selected some words from the 90s Slang Word Set for my title. My child is performing Jay-Z's rap from Beyonce's "Crazy in Love" and nicknamed themselves "Young D" for the song. I thought a slang title paired well with their stage name.   Hi friends! Dana here today sharing a floral scrapbook layout that features one of my favorite photos of my niece taken this past summer. I've been holding on to this Simple Stories Vintage Indigo Garden Delightful patterned paper for some time now. The darker color palette of this collection feels more like fall to me, so I was happy to finally use this print. The Circle Butterfly Doily Frame was the perfect chipboard piece to pair with this patterned paper. I used paint markers and Distress Oxide Ink to color the frame, and then I embellished further with flowers and Rose Leaves . I chose the Today Only Happens Once chipboard title for this layout. The word only is not attached, so I moved that word to the other side of the piece to create a title that takes up more space to better fill in the top corner of this page. I've taken some creative license! I colored this chipboard with a brown paint marker and then used some gold wax to add a little shimmer to the letters....
