Time- Steampunk Layout- Debbie Burns

 


 

                                            Hi everyone!  Debbie here with you today with a steampunk layout.

I used papers from Scrap Boys House of Science along with steampunk chipboard from the Creative Embellishments Store.  All chipboard was treated with paints.  I used DecoArt Americana Lamp EbonyBlack, DecoArt Extra Sheen Copper, Folk Art Color Shift Black Flash, Folk Art Sugar Metallic Smoky Quartz, Folk Art Brushed Metal Copper and Folk Art Metallic Taupe.

I used Timeless - ATC Frames and Time - ATC Frames.  Placed between the frames I used a piece from Simple Gear Flourish.

Love the figures from Victorian Wind Up 2.  Here I used the man.

Here's the woman from Victorian Wind Up 2.  I added some fussy cut flowers and diecuts.

Christmas Countdoewn Advent Calendar- Dana Tatar

  Hi friends! Dana here today sharing an upcycled advent calendar. I saved the advent calendar packaging from last year and gave it a new life using products from the Fancy Pants Designs Fruitcake and Tinsel Collection and some of my favorite chipboard sets. I used the Christmas Countdown Title on the front of this calendar box, which I colored simply with a paint marker. While I was assembling the covers, I added red ribbon under the patterned paper so that I could tie the calendar closed. I had a lot of fun painting and embellishing this  Santa Head Shaker . I used paint markers to color the chipboard and then filled the colored segments with matching glitter or sequins. I added a sprig of holly from the  Poinsettia Set  and a blue pompom to Santa's hat.  There wouldn't be a Santa without Rudolph. Plague Doctor Layout- Angela Weisbeck

  Plague Doctor layout  Hello!! I had so much fun creating this next layout! I love it when my kids get creative and put together their own costumes, but I love it even more when the costume is creepy, scary or spooky. So what did my son come up with for Halloween of 2020? What better than a Plague Doctor costume?!! I loved every minute of this and he loved the extra treats and toys he got from some houses that also loved his clever costume. Up first is our Plague mask; it's under Crow Skull mask on Creative Embellishments website. I used metallic gold chalk marker and then added a little detail over the top with other markers until I like the look. I little red around the eyes never hurts. I colored the bottom and hat with black marker & then added a black acrylic skull w/ crossbones .  Can't forget my creepy spider . I used brown mark on him with a bit of red on the pincers.
